Answers to the most common questions about the Archy.
How many pendants do I need?
It depends on which set and what the space looks like.
Archy Dine (rail set — for above a dining table or kitchen island):
- 3 pendants — tables up to around 260cm
- 5 pendants — tables between 180cm and 300cm
- 7 pendants — tables from 280cm upwards
There is intentional overlap — for a 220cm table you could go with 3 or 5 pendants depending on how full you want the look. The rail length and pendant spacing are always calculated to fit your specific table.
Archy Cluster (round canopy — for dining tables, staircases, entrances, living rooms):
- 3–5 pendants — a focused, understated look
- 7–9 pendants — a fuller, more architectural statement
- 11 pendants — maximum impact, ideal for large spaces or high ceilings

How do I choose the right cord length?
You don't need to calculate anything. Just tell us your ceiling height and how low you'd like the pendants to hang — we work out the cord lengths from there.
As a general guide, most people hang their Archy Dine set 65–80cm above the table surface. For cluster sets in living rooms or staircases the hang height varies more — we'll ask you about the specific space after you order.
If you're unsure, send us a photo of the room and we'll advise before you buy.
Can the Archy be installed on a sloped or angled ceiling?
Yes. The canopies for the cluster sets, and the rails for the Dine sets, can be installed on a sloped ceiling. We will adjust the cord lengths to fit. When you order, just mention your ceiling angle in the notes — or send us a photo if you're not sure.
What does the pendant look like up close — the finish and material?
We apply a durable matte coating so you can keep the pendants clean. The white pendants are RAL 9010 and are also white on the inside. The black Archy pendants can be either white or gold on the inside — your choice.
What colour temperature are the bulbs?
The standard dimmable bulbs we send are 2700K warm white — a soft, inviting glow that works well in dining rooms, kitchens and living spaces.
If you prefer something different, we also have:
- 2200K — very warm, close to candlelight. Good for living rooms and atmospheric spaces.
- 3000K — slightly cooler, closer to halogen. Works well in kitchens or bright spaces.
Just mention your preference in the order notes at checkout, or ask us before ordering.
With Philips Hue, you have the advantage of not just being able to dim, but also varying the light temperature between very cool, very warm and everything in between.
How long does production and delivery take?
We aim to deliver your set within 4 weeks. Because every order is custom-made, the exact timing depends on how many orders are ahead of yours — sometimes we can ship in 3 weeks, and occasionally it runs to 6 weeks.

Do you have a showroom?
Yes. Our showroom is in Brecht, close to Antwerp, where you can see all the available options in person, discuss your situation, and see exactly how the Archy sets are made.

Can I see how the lamps will look in my own home before buying?
Yes — we have a tool for this. Send us a photo of your dining room or kitchen and we'll draw the Archy set in for you so you can see exactly how it will look in your space before you commit.
It's free, takes about a minute to fill in, and we'll send you the result within 12 hours.
Are the lamps dimmable?
Yes. We supply dimmable LED bulbs as standard. All Archy sets are compatible with a dimmer switch — you just need a phase-cutting LED dimmer (fase aan- én afsnijding), which is widely available at most hardware stores for €20–40. We also have a compatible dimmer switch you can add to your order for €50.
If you have home domotica (DALI or similar) there are also ways to dim with your system via an adapter. Get in touch about your specific setup for advice.
The bulbs use a standard E27 fitting, so they are easy to replace whenever needed.
How are the lamps installed?
Your Archy set arrives fully assembled. Installation comes with a step-by-step guide and templates to easily mark the fixing bracket positions on the ceiling. Most customers install it themselves in under a few hours.
We also have a partnership with Kevin from D-lighted, who can install Archy sets in around 1.5 hours from Antwerp.

What can be customised?
For every Dine set we calculate the rail length, pendant spacing, and cord length based on your table dimensions and ceiling height.
For Cluster sets, you choose the number of pendants and the cord length spread — whether the pendants hang close together or are spread out to fill a high-ceilinged room.
For all sets, you choose the colour (white with linen cord, white with black cord, or black with black cord), the LED type, and the number of pendants.
If your situation is unusual — a very high ceiling, a non-standard table, a complex room layout — just get in touch before ordering. We are used to solving tricky situations.
What if something arrives damaged or I am not happy?
We offer a 100-day return policy. If the Archy pendants have not won you over within 100 days, send them back for a full refund — no questions asked.
We pack the sets very well and damage in transit is rare, but if anything does arrive damaged, contact us straight away at info@morecircular.com with a photo and we will sort it out quickly.
